How does BrandGPT work?
BrandGPT uses a combination of open source tools, proprietary models, brand data, and BrandGuard technology to capture the essence of a brand. BrandGPT is able to answer questions about a brand and articulate the voice of a brand with references back to the Style Guide.
Can I upload my brand guidelines to BrandGPT?
Yes. You can upload your own Brand Style Guide to BrandGPT. You can follow the steps for uploading once you register and login to the BrandGPT application. If you have any issues or need assistance please contact us at brandgpt@brandguard.ai.
Is my data being used to train models?
No. Your Style Guide is not being used to train any proprietary models unless you are a paying customer using BrandGuard. At present, the only external model BrandGPT uses is from OpenAI's via their API Platform and OpenAI does not train on data from ChatGPT Enterprise or the API Platform (for more information, please go to their privacy policy). However, we continually evaluate the best models, both internal and external, to provide you with the best experience so particular models used may change at any time. This may include moving off of OpenAI. Regardless of model, your data will not be used to train any models unless your are a paying customer using BrandGuard, in which case your data will only be used to train your models in your own private workspace.
How do I start a chat with a brand?
You can immediately begin a chat with one of the premier brands we've handpicked for you. Alternatively, you may choose a brand from the extensive collection in BrandGPT. Additionally, you have the option to add your own brand style guide, making it accessible for all users to engage with. After limited use, you will be asked to register to continue to use BrandGPT.
What are some common questions that you can ask BrandGPT?
BrandGPT embodies the essence and voice of a brand. The questions you can ask are only constrained by the brand data available in the system

Brand GPT has been trained to work on the following areas of knowledge about a brand: Brand Identity, Logo, Iconography, Color Palette, Typography, Photography, Tone & Voice, Guidelines, and Merchandising. Any question not related to the above areas will likely not elicit a response from BrandGPT.
It's taking a long time for BrandGPT to respond to my questions?
BrandGPT relies on some 3rd party APIs for part of its processing. These APIs have been shown to have large variability in their response. Unfortunately, this variability also affects our system at the moment. We are working to remove these 3rd party APIs from our process to improve your customer experience.
